About Jae

I have always had pets around - cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and a rabbit while growing up. I had my own beloved and special cat, Pixie, who sadly passed away this year, at the age of 20. Pets have beautiful authenticity and I love their way of giving unconditional love. I would like to meet more pets and take care of them the way I take care of my own. I am honest and reliable so you can know your pets are in responsible hands. I am moving to Melbourne and am looking for pet sits, preferably longer-term. House visits for feeding/ cleaning/ cuddles/ play/ companionship (minimum one hour, can negotiate for longer). Will look after your home like my own including with security. Can do a reduced house sitting rate for extended stays. Comfortable with basic medication. I nursed Pixie who was quite unwell at the end. Dog walking for trained dogs- will take dog(s) in the local area. 30 minutes to 90 minute walks (extra fee for more than an hour). I'm 42 years old and worked for the government. I'm from the UK originally and lived in NZ for 12 years. I have a BSc and Masters in psychology! I love animals and read their body language. I had the closest bond with my cat, Pixie. I would like to increase my experience with animals, especially dog training and animal behaviour, possibly to move into a career in that area. I'm very comfortable with cat behaviours and gaining their trust through respecting their boundaries. I have walked the disability dogs at work. I volunteer at the SPCA with cats and small animals. I am flexible with what you and your pets need, so please ask for whatever customisation you like. Let's meet first - I know I always have many questions when it comes to my own furry friends.
