Jae's Experience

I volunteer with dogs and cats at a local animal shelter, so I get lots of hands-on experience with different personalities and needs. I have experience pet sitting for different animals including cats, dogs and a chinchilla. I have lived with my own guinea pig, hamsters, rabbit and cats. I have stayed in different people's homes and have great references.

The grey and white tabby cat in the photos was my own cat who I got to spend seven years with until the age of 20. She taught me so much about unconditional love! I recently moved to Melbourne and am starting a career working with animals, particularly pet behaviour. I offer dog walking, house visits and overnight pet sitting services. Dog Walking Currently studying an Advanced Canine Behaviour and Training course as I want to make sure dogs are living their best life, especially if you need some help fulfilling all their needs. I offer one-on-one dog walking so your dog has my full attention and energy. Home Visits Cats, dogs or small animals, I will come to your home and feed, clean up, socialise (play/ pats) and brush cats (which helps build a good bond). I am comfortable giving medication. Pet Sitting I am an experienced pet sitter looking after people’s beloved pets and their homes and belongings. Coaching I also do coaching to help improve your relationship and bond with your cat. This is listed on the PetBacker website/ app under "Pet Training". Further Info I have volunteered at the SPCA in New Zealand looking after cats and small animals (August to November 2025). I am safety conscious and conscientious, looking after your pets and home as I do my own.
